A quick review of Carnival Pride New Years 2016 Cruise

I was on Carnival Pride for New Year… Here is my review…

The ship is great as always! I had a balcony on deck 7 with 3 people. 2 beds plus the sofa became a bed too!

The food was great! American Table Menu was great.. a lot of good choices! I liked that it had 3 different selections from the specific port you visited on that day.

David’s Steakhouse was amazing! You should try it out sometimes! Also Bonsai, Sushi place… I ordered the love boat and the chef made special sushi for me and it was delicious! Great price and great food!

The Chef’s Table, you should do it once in your lifetime! A tour in kitchen, meeting the chef, and had 7 course meals… amazing and so full!
Alchemy Bar was amazing.. Bartenders made great martinis and knew how to surprise me!

Staff and the Cruise Director, Donkey, was great… very friendly…. and sociable! Passengers were wonderful! Made some friends and hopefully will cruise together again!

Shows were great… Heart of Soul, Motown and more! The Punchliner Comedy Club was awesome with a lot of laughter!

Let’s moving on with ports that I visited.. Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk…

Nassau.. I have been to Nassau several times so I get tired of it. I just got off the ship and walked around a bit… then came back on the ship and ate lunch… Guy’s Burger… Man, it was so good!!

Half Moon Cay.. my first time there and it was amazing! We were tendered and got to the island early in the morning… Sand was so white and soft! Water was so clear! There are paths around so you can walk! Carnival has a great BBQ where they cooked lunch for all of us. Drinks cost money though. If you ever go there, I highly recommend you to get a cabana!

Grand Turk… I got off and walked around a bit then I decided to go to Jack’s Shack for some jerk chicken and drinks.. Met a lot of people there from the ship and had fun! They have a great beach. Really, nothing much to do in Grand Turk.

Now, let’s talk about the New Year Experience….

The ship had a lot of activities…. There was music in the atrium and some people were dancing.. Then at 11:00 p.m., there was a balloon drop… then at 11:30 p.m., everyone went to the lido and counted down. They had a band… they gave away glasses and stuff like that. At midnight, everyone cheered and hugged when we entered 2016! After a while, people started going to the night club and continued to party! I would recommend anyone to experience a New Year on a cruise… I would do it again!
